Champorado con Tinapa


Ingredients:

  • 80g Glutinous rice 
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tbs cocoa powder
  • 1 to 1/2 tbs of sugar
  • 4pcs Easy Eats tinapang Galunggong (fillet)
  • Milk (optional) 

How to Cook:

  1. In a small pot, bring water to a boil over high heat. 
  2. While the water is boiling, wash the glutinous rice. In a small bowl, dissolved cocoa powder in tablespoon of water.
  3. Once it boils, add glutinous rice along with dissolved cocoa powder and sugar, stir it. 
  4. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, until it becomes sticky.
  5. While waiting, fry the tinapa fillet until to your desired doneness. 
  6. When the rice is sticky, turn off the heat.
  7.  Transfer to a bowl and place the tinapa on top. 
  8.  Optional: Add some milk on the side or pour over for a creamier taste.

*Good for 2 to 3 person
