Ingredients:
180g Bangus fillet
100g French beans, ends trimmed
150g red tomatoes, sliced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small white onion, sliced
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
80 ml water
Dash of ground pepper
Cooking oil, for frying
How to Cook:
1. Fry the Bangus – In a pan simply fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Set aside.
2. Sauté the Tomatoes – In the same pan, sauté the sliced tomatoes until softened and juicy.
3. Add the Seasonings & Vegetables – Add the soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, and French beans. Stir well to combine.
4. Simmer – Add the water and a dash of ground pepper. Cover and simmer until the sauce is lightly thickened and the French beans are tender-crisp.
5. Add the Onion – Add the sliced white onion and cook briefly, just until slightly softened but still crisp.
6. Serve – Arrange the French beans and fresh tomato sauce on a plate, then place the crispy tinapang bangus slightly overlapping on top. 🐟🌿🍅
